🇵🇭 Thinking of Going Home This Summer?

🇵🇭 Thinking of Going Home This Summer?

🟡 If You’re on a J-1 or H-1B Visa

Be extra careful. If your visa is expired, you’ll need to apply for a new stamp at the U.S. Embassy before coming back — and sometimes, that process takes weeks or months.

Talk to your sponsor before deciding.

✈️ Before You Pack Your Bags, Ask Yourself:

  1. Am I 100% sure I can re-enter the U.S. without issues?

  2. Do I have all the paperwork to support my status?

  3. Can I risk being stuck abroad if delays happen?

  4. Will I lose my job or miss deadlines if I’m held at the airport?

🧳 My Honest Take?

Home is everything.

But so is stability — and if there’s even a small chance you might run into trouble at the airport, it’s okay to wait. Spend the summer resting, recharging, and maybe visiting another state or starting that passion project you’ve been putting off.

The Philippines will always be there.

Make sure your future here in the U.S. stays safe too.
