Los Angeles Adventure: Wilshire/Western

My Metro Rail (Red Line) Adventure started here

This was my second station, in the series of station hopping, I did on my own when I was in
Los Angeles for my 10 day spring break in 2008!

Interesting station design!
On my way out of the station...
Here was what I saw: The Wiltern Theatre. One of the largest theaters in Los Angeles.
The Wiltern Theatre was originally designed as a vaudeville theater and initially opened as the Warner Brothers Western Theater, the flagship for the theater chain. Wiltern Theatre was renamed for for the major intersection which it faces (Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue).
Next Stop: Jollibee! (Vermont/Beverly)
