Happy 2nd Teach-USA! #Weeklies

Week 47/52 #Weeklies

I will forever remember the first week of September when I met Ate Cora again at a Fil-Am Palarong Pinoy (a sports event for Filipino-Americans in New Mexico). It was a very simple meeting, she asked how my online business was doing and she shared her newly created website, "Teach-USA". Not knowing what it all meant, I said, "I want in! I want to join!" On the 8th of September, we're in full operation of Teach-USA.

Now, we are celebrating our 2nd year, Yay!

Our 1st batch started in July 2018, by December, the 2nd batch came in and last month August 2019, most of the 3rd batch rushed in as well.

I feel grateful every day knowing a lot of teachers' dreams have come true, are starting to come true and will come true soon. Although people business is the most delicate and hardest of all, it is also the most satisfying and rewarding and I feel privileged to be given this opportunity by God to serve His people in my own little ways.

As in all stories, it would be boring to have it all in happy mode. Running 2nd year, as more teachers flocked in the group, there were more issues, concerns and "human-ness" that need handling, pacifying, managing and fixing.

Compared to the saying, the tree that bears fruit will be stoned, Teach-USA has been stoned, yes. I guess, people threw stones because we were of value, otherwise why even take time to do it? But, thank God, with His grace and mercy, that didn't stop the tree from growing more. I guess bearing more fruits became more significant than all the stones being thrown in the end.

Teach-USA can only do so much, success at every stage was and will always be God willing. We have no control over anything and everything, we only facilitate and do the work at hand. All else is God's providence and blessings.

No one knows when God will stop the tree from bearing fruits, but it doesn't matter. The future is promised to no one, but as long as we are steadfast in our mission and purpose, we will be OK.

I have all the more reasons to rejoice because, through these two years, God has allowed me to learn from my mistakes, to let go of control and have Him take the wheel, and realize that indeed, His grace, overflows.

Cheers Teach-USA! Let's stay rooted in our calling!

May God's name be praised.
