Meet Fellow: Jemmry Velasquez
Jemmry is currently the 8th grade Science teacher and Department Head of Heizer Middle School in Hobbs, New Mexico. He has been teaching science in the United States for the last three years, but has been teaching for 19 years. He is the former Academic Supervisor at Hope Christian High School in the Philippines, where he spent 16 years in both academic and administrative positions.
He was also an accreditor of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges, and Universities in the Philippines. He evaluated instructional programs of numerous schools all over the country. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education major in Natural Science and Master’s Degree in Education major in Educational Administration in the University of the City of Manila.
He is completing his second Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of the Southwest in New Mexico.
