Language Proficiency


In your resume, please highlight your LANGUAGE proficiency levels.


  • Elementary proficiency
    You can communicate for travel purposes, such as asking directions or checking into a hotel. You can also read some personal and place names, street signs, numbers, and isolated words and phrases.

  • Full professional proficiency
    You can communicate with fluent speakers in personal and professional settings with ease. You can also accurately translate discussions and understand all forms and styles of speech pertinent to professional needs.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency
    You were either raised speaking the language as your native tongue or have been speaking it so long that you are completely fluent with a little or no accent.
